Removable prostheses

Partial and complete dentures are prosthetic dental appliances that are designed to replace missing teeth and their surrounding gums and bone.

There are two main types:

Partial dentures; are similar to complete dentures but use one or more remaining natural teeth and the soft tissue for support and retention.
Complete dentures; replace all teeth and can be placed immediately after removal of the natural teeth or after a healing period
